What exactly is Horrify.world?

Well, let’s start with how it all began

We all know that Youtube is terrible as an app. It doesn’t care about what you want to watch and it makes zero effort in trying to show you the kinds of videos that would interest you.

I’ve been as tired of this as most other people, so I decided to make a site specifically for horror that manually curates my favorite Horror Youtubers and their videos, and as a bonus, I’ve also made it easier for you to find and navigate the fantastic horror videos that youtube has to offer.

In the beginning I just picked a couple of my friends to feature, but as time has gone on, the site has grown to now feature contributors with a combined pool of over 120.000 subscribers and rising.

And it’s also grown to not just feature videos. We’ve got written reviews now, movies, a games preservation archive, and we’ve even started our own little music label sort of….. And most importantly, we’ve created a community of awesome people, and that includes you. I hope you’ll come back time and time again for when you need your horror fix.
